Fruit Juice Industry
Fruit is a ready available natural source of vitamin and nutrient. Fruit Juice is a beverage produced from healthy, ripe and fresh fruit using mechanical methods and resembling the typical characteristics of the fruit such as color, taste and smell. Fresh fruit has a water content in the range of 70-90%.

While fruit juice can be directly produced from fruit it can also be prepared by diluting the concentrated product with potable water and through addition of volatile aromatics which are separated during concentration, which do not significantly impact the quality attributes. Production of products conforming to the international standards is a requirement in order to satisfy the increased demand with the growing global population. Employing highly efficient process equipment in the plant, which is suitable for automation is very important.

Product Features

The disc separator is a mechanical equipment that uses the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to continuously separate two liquids or solid-liquid suspensions with different densities. It has the advantages of high speed, stable operation, all closed import and export systems, low noise and good separation effect.

 

Process
Process: Raw fruit delivered to the plant is subjected to washing, classification, shredding processes and then juice-pulp mixture produced by extraction along with heating is processed in Shenzhou LW series decanters and the fruit juice which contains trace amount of solid matter delivered from liquid phase output is fed into Shenzhou DHC separators and raw fruit juice is obtained upon running it through filtration systems. Pulp produced from solid exit of LW Decanter does not contain solid matter. Optionally, 2nd extraction process is carried out through addition of water to solid output of the decanter and the obtained product is recycled to the system through use of LW Decanter DHC Separators. Raw fruit juice that is obtained is concentrated through evaporation procedure if required.
