Hollow blade dryer is a horizontal stirring type dryer that mainly focuses on heat conduction. Due to the hollow mixing blades resembling ship paddles, they are collectively referred to as hollow blade dryer. Due to the fact that the heat required for the drying process of this equipment relies on indirect heating through heat conduction, only a small amount of gas is required to carry away moisture during the drying process, which greatly reduces the loss of heat carried away by the gas and improves the utilization rate of heat. Compact structure: The main heat transfer component of the dryer is the shovel shaped blades, which are densely packed and arranged crosswise on a fixed rotating shaft at specified intervals, resulting in higher heat transfer per unit volume. For this reason, this device has a very compact structure and a small footprint.
High heat transfer efficiency: Due to the excellent continuous mixing and stirring of raw materials, the relatively rotating shovel shaped blades and inclined blade surfaces, as well as the heating and cooling of the body, ensure that all surfaces in contact with the product can evenly transfer heat energy.
Self cleaning performance: Due to the relative rotation of the blade movement, they have a continuous self-cleaning effect on the nearby inner surface. The products that adhere to each other and accumulate on the blades can be removed and re-entered into the production process.
Simple control: The drying process and residence time can be easily checked, controlled, and adjusted. They can be individually set and adjusted based on the physical properties of the dried product, including the number of shafts or blades, rotational speed, temperature of the heat exchanger, and drying time.
The generated dust and odor are relatively small: due to the small gas flow used during the drying process, the dust and odor that can be generated are also very small. Therefore, the vacuum cleaner or deodorizer used in conjunction with it is also very small or unnecessary to use at all.
Almost no wear and material loss: the rotational speed of the blades is very low, only 10 to 40 revolutions per minute, which effectively avoids wear and rapid wear of machine equipment caused by wear. In addition, the risk of metal material rupture is also minimized.
Suitable for drying products with high humidity: due to the use of paddle type drying elements and continuous mixing and stirring, it can dry materials with high viscosity and high humidity. Its structural design avoids product accumulation in dead corners and overheating or spoilage caused by product accumulation.
Working Principle
Hollow shaft dense arrangement with the wedge-shaped hollow blade, the heat medium through the hollow shaft flow through the blade. The effective volume of heat transfer area is very large, the heat medium can be water vapor, can also be hot water or heat conducting oil. The heat transfer medium flows through the shell jacket and the hollow stirring shaft through the rotating joint, and the hollow stirring shaft has a different internal structure according to the type of the heat medium to ensure the best heat transfer effect.In the pulp and jacket access to hot oil, heating at the same time, the upper part of the discharge port at the same time through the heated dry air after further drying, thus greatly increasing the drying strength of the device. Evaporated moisture from the tail gas out of the dryer, wet air discharged by the induced draft fan outdoors.
