LW series decanter centrifuge is a horizontal centrifuge with continuous feeding and continuous discharge. It is applicable for two-phase (solid-liquid) separation and three-phase (solid-liquid-liquid) separation in the chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental protection, mining, food and other industries.

 

LWS decanter separator is suitable for plant oil,( such as palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil separation ,) animal oil(such as fish oil, restaurant garbage ect)  coal tar dehydration and slag,adapted to the different viscosity and water content in coal tar separation (emulsion), after separating the tar reach national standard.

Operating principle:

liquid,light liquid and solid phase, with different density and mutually insoluble in the mixed liquid, gain different
sedimentation speed in the centrifugal force field or gravity force field, separating stratification or causing the solid
particles in the liquid to deposit can be achieved.It is the popular machine throughout the world and widely used in the crude oil separation.Specially used for remove sludge and water from crude oil.

Scroll

The scroll of the REYES decanter centrifuge is the most flexible scroll available on the market. Its specific open flight design reduces the torque created by the sludge and maximizes the clarification rate. The special cone design leads to high sludge compaction. • Reduction of sludge conveying torque by 30%, which impacts the gear box lifetime and the scroll drive size positively. • High cake dryness due to better solid compaction. • Excellent centrate quality due to minimized internal turbulences and maximized settling volume!

Bowl:

The bowl design is carefully selected to balance the various needs for integrity, stability, smooth operation, minimized windage, high durability, low wear, and easy maintenance, while ensuring the principle process functions. The design is modular to allow an easy fit to different basic process conditions by adjustment of diameter, length, and cone angle. The overall design is optimized to minimize the power consumption and provide the best possible stiffness. REYES decanter centrifuges are not only factory-tested before delivery to a customer's site, but also extensively type-tested according to international standards to meet all product safety requirements

Decanter Centrifuges Limitations:
* The decanter centrifuges cannot separate biological solids with very small density differences, such as cells and viruses. A competitive process that is capable of separating these difficult-to-separate solids is the tubular-bowl centrifuge.
* The machine can be very noisy and can cause vibration.
* The device has a high-energy consumption due to high G-forces.
* The decanter centrifuge has high equipment capital costs. Hard surfacing and abrasion protection materials are required for the scroll to reduce wear and therefore reduce the maintenance of the scroll wear.
